About Me
Nemo Rosas
Hi, I'm Nemo. I'm a senior at Penn State majoring in Digital Arts and Media Design with an emphasis in 3D Animation and Time-Based Media. My creative work in design, animation, and interactive media focuses on synthesizing research from a variety of disciplines including psychology, sociology, kinesiology, and ethology to create complex, immersive experiences.
In my contemporary practice, I am passionate about animation as a medium for mature storytelling and serious themes. I focus on coupling technical expertise with an understanding of emotional and sociocultural influences to create captivating stories that will resonate deeply with current and future audiences. I believe that truly bringing life to animation requires an in depth understanding of not only the mechanics of movement, but also the underlying psychological, physiological, and environmental factors that drive behavior.
